Reconciliation:
Saturday afternoon: 3:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. or anytime by calling the rectory.
Baptism: Please call the parish office (570-347-9421) to schedule a baptism. The parish office is open Monday-Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The office is closed on Friday and on religious and civic holidays.
Marriage: Please call the parish office (570-347-9421) for a copy of the Wedding Guidelines Information Pamphlet. Copies are also available in the back of the Church. This handy pamphlet will answer many questions on how to arrange a marriage at St. Lucy's Church. No wedding dates will be accepted over the phone. You may inquire is a date is currently open by calling the office.
Pastoral Care of the sick and homebound:
Please contact the parish office if someone is sick and would like to be visited. For emergencies with the Anointing of the Sick, the duty priest may be called by the hospital or nursing home. Every day a priest from the Scranton Area is assigned to cover emergencies and administer the sacrament of Anointing of the Sick. Also, Holy Communion is brought to homebound parishioners monthy. Call the rectory to register (570-347-9421).
RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION FOR ADULTS (RCIA)
The RCIA program is for non-Catholics who wish to come into full communion with Roman Catholic Church and for Catholics who are returning to the Church and wish to learn about their Faith. Please call the office (570-347-9421) and Betty, the secretary, will take down you name and phone number and the deacon will contact you shortly.
