"We wish to thank Dorice Martinelli-Michalik from Florida for providing these pictures from the early 1940's showing the garden statue of Our Lady before it was enclosed in a grotto. In the second photo is her dad William Martinelli who is seated at the base of the statue. The current grotto enclosing the statue was built by Paul Mielo in the 1980's."
