Every Sunday at 9:30am we have Mass in Portugese with Fr. Alvaro de Oliveira, O.S.J. This Mass is at SS Peter and Paul Church, 1309 West Locust St., Scranton, PA. SS Peter and Paul is located a few block from St. Ann's Monastery.
On November 28, 2010, SS. Peter & Paul Parish was honored by the presence of Bishop Edgar Da Cunha, D.D., Auxilary Bishop of Newark, N.J. The Portugese Mass was concelebrated by Rev. Alvaro de Oliveira Joaquim, O.S.J., Assistant Pastor for the Portugese Speaking Community, Bishop da Cunha, and Monisgnor Joseph P. Kelly, Episcopal Vicar for the Hispanic Ministries.
